About HIV/AIDS
Definition
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is the virus that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. When a person has the condition, their immune system slowly stops working because the virus is constantly attacking it and weakening it. Because the immune system becomes weak other opportunistic diseases are what cause death. Some of these diseases include tuberculosis, malaria, pneumonia, etc.
