Transmission
Transmission
HIV/AIDS is usually contracted through sexual intercourse. It can also be contracted through coming in contact with infected blood. If the infected blood enters into the body of a person that is not infected, then the person can become infected. Although it transmitted through sexual intercourse (vaginal fluid, blood, semen, preseminal fluid) it cannot be transmitted through tears, or saliva (unless the saliva has blood in it).
Also, HIV/AIDS can be transmitted from mother-to child
